Six Pack Abs | The effect of resistance training on abs

You can tone your muscles underneath you waist fat with resistance training.

Resistance training helps to speed your metabolism. Your muscles will become more toned as surrounding waistline fat dissapear.

Equipment eg. plates, bands, cables etc. can be employed in your abs workouts to add some resistance.

Your tummy muscles will tighten as a result of applying an increased resistance. As your tummy muscles becomes stronger ... gradually increase the resistance and blast those abs.

Six Pack Abs | Do crunches slowly and blast those abs

Speed kills.

The same applies to abs. If you want to see good results the you should take your time while doing reps.

The slower you move your abdomen area, less momentum and the more your abs are targetted.

There are two parts of an ab crunch.

1. Up phase (+)
2. Down phase (-)

When you do the down phase ... do it slowly. Moving slowly on the down phase will chisel your abs. Forget quantity of repititions, but rather focus on quality of reps.

Focus on form and doing it correctly. Don't look how much Dick and Jane are doing, but do it controlled and for yourself. More does not always bring positive results.

The internal obliques are underneath external obliques. They enclose your organs. They also help with twisting and side bends.
